Christian von Aster, narrator of Kultajoki / Gold River, (born 1973) is a man of many faces. And indeed it is difficult to answer the question ‘who is a Christian von Aster?’ satisfactorily. One thing is certain: spurred by a variety of motivations, he puts words on paper in a subtle way, followed, in most cases, by more words, that end up in chronologically ordered pages, and then, finally, take the form of books. Working like this, Christian von Aster has already made his way through more than 20 publications, of which only the smallest portion he must keep secret...
